I am SO tired. In my Fitness for Life class we are doing pre-testing before we start our weekly work outs. SO, yesterday morning (at 6:30 am mind you) was all about how much weight we could life compared to our body weight. Apparently my legs are doing just fine because i could do 50+ leg curls with about 80lbs of weight...but my poor little arms could do ZERO on the bench press. I literally could not even get it up once...partly because they had it set at 75 for my weight. how is that even possible? why would they have me lift more with my arms than with my legs? SO confused. Anyway, after that embarrassment...i was sore all morning and my legs were shaking on the way to class because i maxed out on every machine and thus i was a bit wobbly. Somehow i got through my day...only to get up THIS MORNING, and run 1.5 miles to see what my VO2 max is. How much oxygen my body can use at any given time ( i think). I ran it in 13:10...kinda embarrassing for an ex soccer player...HOWEVER..i don't blame myself...it was at 8 in the morning, AND it was inside on a track which gets rather monotonous and slows down my pace EVERY TIME. whatever happened to running outside in God's beautiful creation? eh? Anyway. My legs are thoroughly sore and I now want to take a nap but cannot because i have a reading report due in 2 hours that i didn't do last night due to my sluggishness as a result of the morning exercises.
